About Our Grading & Hauling Contractor
Everett's Clearing & Grading Inc. has proudly been serving Kinston, NC and the surrounding areas since 1968. Started by Henry L. Everette Sr., our company was originally named Everett's Landscaping Services and focused on residential and smaller commercial projects. By the early 1990s we began to grow and expand into more commercial work.
In 1996, Lynn and Mary Ann Everette assumed control of the company. To better reflect the services that we provided, our name was changed to Everett's Clearing & Grading Inc. We are extremely proud of the growth we have gone through and to have developed such good working relationships with some of the leaders in the construction industry in Eastern North Carolina.
In 2007 we became a North Carolina DOT Certified DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise)/WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) company. We are also a pre-qualified POC (Purchase Order Contractor) and are HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) certified.
Our inventory of equipment includes excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, grade tractors and motor graders. We also have a fleet of trucks ranging from tandems to quints, making removal and delivery simple.
At least one member of each crew is certified through North Carolina DOT as a Level II Certified Erosion and Sediment Control / Storm Water Site Manager.
